Implants are a very good option for those who are missing an entire row of teeth and/or lower gums and often decrease gum irritation and discomfort.

Implants are small titanium fixtures which are placed in the jawbone through surgery. The dentures that are placed over them are done in different ways:

 1) Locator Supported Denture: Clips into the locators in your jaw (usually the lower jaw)

   2) Bar-Supported Denture: A bar is screwed into the implants, then the denture clips into the bar (removable by patient)
